Our Mission
Transforming innate curiosity into lifelong capability — building a generation of hands-on problem solvers and innovators across North East India.
Every child is a natural maker.
In villages, towns, and cities across North East India, we witness incredible resourcefulness, curiosity, and creative potential in young minds. SparkBee Foundation was founded to turn this raw potential into practical, future-ready innovation skills.
We believe that when children learn by making — assembling electronic circuits, building robotics chassis, tinkering with microcontrollers, and designing solutions to real community problems — they gain confidence, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities that static textbooks can never teach.
Hands-On Tinkering
Experiential learning that bridges theoretical science with physical hardware
Local Problem Solving
Empowering youth to address real-world community challenges
Collaborative Community
Connecting students, educators, mentors, and makers in open spaces
The SparkBee Maker Manifesto
The values and beliefs that guide every workshop, makerspace, workbook, and community initiative we build.
1. Making Over Rote Learning
Building physical circuits and working prototypes deepens understanding far beyond memorizing textbook formulas.
2. Tinker Without Fear
Failure is not a setback — it is standard iteration. Every burnt LED and loose wire is a valuable lesson on the road to breakthrough.
3. Local Roots, Global Mindset
We empower youth to solve local community challenges using modern tools, microcontrollers, and global open-source technology.
4. Open Knowledge & Sharing
Makerspace tools, learning workbooks, and project designs are shared openly so knowledge grows exponentially.
5. Innovation Belongs to Everyone
Every child, regardless of gender, background, or location, deserves access to tools, mentorship, and creative confidence.
6. Build for Impact
We build not just for competitions or grades, but to create tangible positive change in the world around us.
A decade of making & impact
From an experimental innovation project to a registered Section 8 movement fueling maker education across North East India.
Sparkbee Program Launched
Started the initial Sparkbee program under Springhive Labs Pvt. Ltd. to spark curiosity and bring hands-on maker-based education to schools.
First Makerspace at Adabari
Established our very first community makerspace at Adabari (now closed), serving as a pioneer lab for local youth to experiment, tinker, and craft.
Registered as Section 8 Company
Formally incorporated as SparkBee Foundation, a Section 8 non-profit company with 80G & 12A certification.
Opening MakerHive at Kalipur
